Nyesha Hightower

Nyesha is joining the SPS Instructional Support Team at Columbia University, after spending over 8 years working for Sanctuary for Families helping families experiencing gender violence gain stability, security, and independence. Her experiences gave her a desire to help improve the essential qualities in the lives of others through education, and what better way than as an Instructional Support Assistant. She is always positive and seeking to find the beauty in everything around her. Since she was a child, she has been passionate about helping others and looking for ways to become a better person. Some of her hobbies include learning, reading, yoga, music, binging RuPaul’s drag race, traveling, and cooking. Nyesha is always determined to keep a smile on her face and help others in any way she can.
