Steven E. Thomas

Steven Thomas serves as Director of Instructional Support at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies, where he has been part of the department since 2017, beginning as one of its first Instructional Support Specialists. He brings a blend of strategic vision and operational rigor, having helped design and scale the infrastructure of an award-winning academic support unit. Steven excels at cultivating diverse, high-performing teams and fostering cultures grounded in collaboration and continuous improvement. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communication from CUNY Baruch College and a master’s degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University.
