Dominique Ursula Studer
Dominique Studer, Director of Faculty Affairs, leads strategic initiatives in faculty development, engagement, and systems optimization at Columbia's School of Professional Studies. She oversees comprehensive faculty lifecycle processes while serving as primary administrator for the Faculty Information System (FIS). With expertise in data analytics and process improvement, Dominique drives faculty excellence through innovative initiatives including the Faculty Research Committee, AI in Teaching & Learning Committee, and Dean's Applied Research Award, while advancing the school's AI and research priorities.
Previously, she pioneered recruitment infrastructure at Glasgow Caledonian New York College and earned the 2017 Dean's Excellence Award for outstanding work in Student Advising at Columbia SPS. She holds a B.S. from Marymount Manhattan College (Magna Cum Laude) and an M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University. A thrill-seeker at heart, she adventures alongside her husband and three fur babies!
