Evelina Freeman
Ms. Freeman, a 25-year nonprofit sector professional, joined Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies in 2009. She serves as Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs, advancing the School’s mission through strategic portfolio planning and evaluation, academic governance, and cross-functional initiatives supporting program review, development, and long-term academic excellence. Before Columbia, Ms. Freeman worked in arts administration, higher education, and HIV prevention and research at institutions such as the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the University of Pennsylvania, and Prevention Point Philadelphia.
Ms. Freeman serves on the Board of Trustees for the Perkins Gardens Trust of Wave Hill Public Garden & Cultural Center, a 28-acre nonprofit estate in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, NY. She holds a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Temple University and an M.S. in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University.
