Sarah Goez

Sarah Goez is a first-generation Colombian American and proud New York native. She earned her Bachelor's degree in International Relations from New York University, where she also studied Chinese and spent a semester in London exploring European and Middle Eastern studies.

Sarah began her career at Columbia University with the Global Centers | Santiago team before transitioning to the Pre-College Program. There, she played an integral role in instructor support, curriculum operations, and program execution, assisting more than 230 instructors and helping to advance academic initiatives across a diverse portfolio of courses. She later served as Coordinator for Student Life at the School of Professional Studies, where she supported graduate student engagement, advised student organizations, and helped cultivate an inclusive and vibrant campus community. This experience strengthened her commitment to supporting students both inside and outside the classroom.

Now, as Assistant Director of Instruction & Curriculum, Sarah supports academic planning, curriculum management, instructional operations, and faculty engagement. Drawing on her experience across both Academic Affairs and Student Life, she is passionate about fostering high-quality learning experiences and advancing initiatives that support student success and academic excellence.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys traveling, crocheting, hiking, and discovering new coffee spots around New York City.
