Andrew Huemmer

Andy Huemmer is the Assistant Director of the Summer Session Programs and Continuing Education at Columbia University's School of Professional Studies. In his role, Andy manages partnerships between SPS and the School of Arts & Sciences, supporting both the Language and Social Sciences departments for the Summer Sessions and the four accredited certificate programs offered in collaboration between SPS and A&S.

Prior to his current role, Andy served as an Academic Advisor for SPS for eight years and as an Advisor for the Fulbright Fellowship Program through the Institute of International Education for four years. Andy received his BA in History and Religious Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master's of Research in Russian and East European Studies through the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
