Erin O'Connell

As the Assistant Director of Graduate Programs, Erin supports cross-disciplinary master’s degree programs and non-degree offerings through strategic initiatives and administrative projects. She collaborates with program directors and stakeholders to implement best practices, optimize programs, and ensure alignment with academic goals. From overseeing academic reviews and curriculum management initiatives to streamlining program operations, Erin strives to create impactful solutions that support students, faculty, and staff.

A native of eastern Long Island, Erin earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University. She is a proud mentor through Stony Brook's Mentor Connect Program, helping students and alumni navigate their professional journeys.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys diving into a good book (often with her book club), staying active at the gym, cheering on the New York Rangers, and spending time with her cat, Mango.
