Nicole Behman

Nicole Behman is a Course Developer for Columbia University's School of Professional Studies (SPS). She earned her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Kean University. Prior to entering the Instructional Design field, Nicole worked as an English as a Second Language public school teacher and Curriculum Developer, teaching grades K-12 for nine years. During the pandemic, she began her instructional design career while assisting in building and designing over 3,000 online courses for Essex County College, and has worked frequently with SMEs on course developments in various institutions. She has also been the instructional designer for the remote ESL classes she teaches for Hudson County Community College. Nicole has also been employed as an instructional designer for Relay Graduate School of Education.
