The Innovation and Academic Technology team works with a wide range of stakeholders at SPS to support academic and business challenges with strategic and innovative technology solutions.
Challenges range from innovating the learning experience with technology, to improving quality assurance processes in the design and delivery of our courses, to developing data intelligence capacity, to facilitating the achievement of school-wide assessment goals and career management initiatives with new tools.
Why Teach with Technology?
The infusion of technology into all aspects of our lives necessitates the inclusion of new teaching strategies designed to prepare SPS students for their professional lives. Part of the role of faculty is to guide students in appropriate use of the various technologies that will be expected in their various fields. To accomplish this transition we don’t have to turn away from traditional teaching methods; the goal should be instead to analyze how to effectively incorporate appropriate technologies meaningful to course content and discipline.
